had an iBook and a Pentium M laptop.. iTunes 7.5 works on both of my systems.. although the font & graphics looks smoother on my mac sweat.gif..

I think cover flow depends on the graphics card though.. using mobility radeon 9700 on my win lappie..

This is a pure example that Mac softwares works great on their own hardware, but not others.

iTunes worked great on my old AMD Sempron desktop with only 1Gb of RAM. Now, the current library have grown to almost 7Gb, it is time to backup.

I second the threadstarter's comment. I have iTunes on both my Macbook and Toshiba Qosmio G40. The underpowered Macbook runs it flawlessly, Qosmio had the Coverflow stuttering occasionally. And i have, and still having, endless problems downloading trailers via iTunes on the Qosmio, thanks to the mess that is Vista.

I think apple doesn't wanna make one of their best softwares to run just as good on macs on pcs. I guess it'll encourage more windows users to switch.
