4chan /w/ is a good place, but it is random, so you might or might not find something you like, or you can request from fellow anon.

if i like something, i will create a wallpaper out of it by myself.

And I will usually copy it from him. Either that or I scan it from any japan mag

2chan and 4chan have excellent wallpaper section. Just browse and save what you like.

Arguably this 2 sites rendered all dedicated anime wallpaper look too elitist and wasteful.

yeah, now you collect them doujins. Honestly, I don't care really about wallpaper anymore. Most of the times my PC is running multiple softwares that i don't know what my wallpaper looks like under all those crap

5-6k @ around 2+GB. I collect a lot of hi-res these days. I lurk too much.
