salary : RM 3,000 per day (20 working day) + rm600 entertainment fees (per month) + company house (at OUG) , but no OT ... sometime get posted oversea ( was in Stockholm 2 months ago, got $100 USD per day , the rate varies depending on country)

nope... rm3k per day. my contract is 20 days per month
so basic salary per month is rm60k.... but loose em all in stock market

i wrote rm10k loh

my previous salary was rm2k , but my oversea allowances permonth is more than rm10k... so i said i wont accept anything less than rm10k per month.

ok, a lot ppl asked me this qs... i passed the technical interview/exam with... good score... and i actually requested rm10k per day (last minute simply say this coz i suddenly decided to stay in ex company , coz can go UK project) but then they replied said the most is rm3k per day , but as a contractor.. so i just take up only loh

well, the catch here is :- make sure the system is up 24 hours a day , 7 days a week.

tat's why i'm still online and working now. But then working hour flexible loh, as long the system is up and running. I used to go all around the world (the company's country offices) and meet their top management, get their requirements, then write specification, does the implementation, and get their 'nod'.

but the main reason is , they can't find any other cognos consultant as good as me yah.. monthly quite risky , so must make sure they cannot live without u loh... they've been trying to convert me to permanent position, but i kinda reluctant, so they just extend my contract loh.... see what the HR decides lah

nope, we do have a BI team to serve the upper management. It's a small team, unlike the BW team, they serve middle operation/management reporting.

First of all, is because u're a permanent staff. My pay was low when i was permanent with atos origin.
secondly, u must touch every aspect of BI , from DW to helping the managers make decision.
thirdly, get a BI job in big MNC. Normally BI team is small, but whole world rely on this small team of people for their reports.
