Job Title: Tester System Administrator (IT Technician)

Job Desciption: Troubleshooting and Monitoring for all testers (WinXP, Win2k, UNIX, Linux platforms)

Years spent in company: August 2007 - Present

Company: Freescale Semiconductor (Kelana Jaya) - Test Floor

Industry: Semiconductor, Manufacturing

Tenure: 1-year contract, not yet permenant

Employment Level: Fresh Grad

Salary: Basic of RM1400 + Shift Allowance of RM140 = RM1540. Got OT. Rate varies on public holidays and normal days.

Working Hours: 8 hours including 1-hour lunch/dinner break for 6 days a week. Work 6 days then Rest 2 days. Continously. So sometimes weekdays no need work lor. Shift hours changes every week.

6 AM - 2 PM >>> 2 PM - 10 PM >>> 10 PM - 6 AM

Although you only have around 6 months experience, I really think that you are underpaid. Try look around and you should deserve basic not less than rm2.3k + shift allowances around rm300 - 500.

Yes, it is a shift job, and u need to work night shift some more, really not worth. Search for new job bah. Good luck~

based on my previous offers... for fresh IT graduates, basic should range from 2k-3k + shift allowance 300 - 500.
