ya i think you're right.

In fact a master degree will stand worthwhile only when the holder has working experience.

but MBA is very common, it's anywhere everywhere.

On the contrary if you choose other post grad programs it's rather less competitive.

some people say focus in the field which you proficient the most or you interested the most, from there build a carrer of yourself; some poeple view as you.

I have no comment, cos currently i'm not sure which career i truly mean to aim for.

I will definitely control my career if i can make clear what i truly want to be. Sometime dream is dream, reality is reality, of course i hope to have my dream as my career but dream is not only my own business, i have take care of my family.

Hi Error404, one of my good friend who is a degree holder from UPM, working in O&G line as you, experience is around 4 years but her salary is only RM3K.
So, it hink you have to be grateful of what you have

Perhaps I should share my salary of the freelance jobs I have:

Job Title : Translator / Copywriter (English, Chinese, Malay)
Job Desciption: Translate documents, speech, scripts, advertisements, brochures, press release, articles, websites etc...
Years Spent In Industry: since year 2005
Company: -
Tenure: Part time
Experience Before Joining: translated reports, press release of events which me and my coursemates organised, letters, documents etc
Salary: Translation and Copywrite = RM0.25/source word (include proof reading)---depends as how the case may be.
Average income per month: RM200

I don't think so. I have plenty of friends who work in IT industry and they get good pay.

Japanese MNC gives standard pay only.

But then, before jumping into another new job, you may want to value about education level also. Since you already have managerial experiences, you can easily get a better pay with a higher education level.
