Guys, just wondering, normally how you guys ask for a salary increment?I mean, when questions like "Tell me why you deserve that much" comes in, i would totally feel blank. LOL..

How do you guys actually deal with the starting salary when you apply for a new job? Say if my salary is RM5k for a 2 year experience guy, if i were to change job, shall i ask higher or lower? As far as i can see, RM5k for 2 years experience is abit high and would that deter offers from other companies?
