My experience onli 2.4 years previously fresh grad, im earning rm6.5K(basic), and got another offer rm7K(basic) plus project bonus 1 month but I rejected. And I am 26 years old. Do u believe me? 

Position? Do programming onli, junior programmer (anything less than 3 years consider junior i think), highest education? Degree from local university (UiTM).

But I've nvr worked in an audit firm b4 and wouldn't want to as well. But after 4 yrs in accounting, I'm really sick of it. Plus now I'm taking part-time degree in accounting. feel like want to vomit also. But no choice have to finish it bcos I'm almost at the end

I don't know if I'm underpaid. Sometimes I compared my salary with the ones earned in SG or even India/CN, mine was badly underpaid. A bit depressed at times because of that. I guess Malaysians are underpaid? But if I think about it that way, I couldn't work effectively and kept complaining. (guess most forumers will say, go and work in SG. :S)

i received an offer for the position MIS Assistant, today gonna go discuss about the salary and all.. How much do u think i shoud ask/expected salary, and what other benefits should i need to know? FYI-current pay is RM1.9K+

i just had the interview with the interviewer, proposed salary is 2.3k upon confirmation will increase to 2.5k.

i haven take the offer yet, this is the propose offer by the company, u really think i should take it?

My current company counter offered me with the same salary and will add another rm500 after 3 months. So will get RM7.5k after halfyearly performance feedback if im doing good. Previously I asked rm7.5K if they want me to stay, but they said my salary is very high for 2 year experience but they cant let me go.
But they need to be fair to others as well. So thats why need to wait till perforamance feedback.

Malaysia salary scale is very weird... just hantam the gaji, and see if any employer will hire you. If hired, lucky lor.

Companies nowadays gave up fanciful corporate titles.
One Assistant Vice President in one company might be only equivalent to another company's Manager. It's just name.

The important part I guess to all is still the salary.......

owh ! my increment just up 2% ! too low for oil & gas field..

near to 2years i serve to this company.
my salary is around rm2500-rm3000..got OT..
not so good enauf lor..

i dont know whether u can use my case as reference..

after 1 year working with my company (my very 1st company after graduate) i demand for RM700 increment and after nego my boss agree to gimme RM500 increment. so i think it's possible since u ady work for 2 years.

Be grateful you still have a permanent job that secures you whole life. Imagine people who get retrenched or lay off(with pay cut) during this recession times.
