Chances are that she's got really good connections.
Even if she is a top class ivy league grad, it would be difficult to end up as a member of your so called MDRT at such young age with little experience.
Mind you, normally ivy league grads don't even return to Malaysia to earn the weak Ringgit.

My friend whose age 25 or 26 also MDRT, and he spend around 1 or 2 years in the business to get that title.

The reason I'm starting this thread is to do a salary range survey and job info sharing of network engineers in the market today. Perhaps some kind souls would be willing to share their experience and what type of certifications are helpful in order to achieve high salaries. rclxms.gif

Job Desciption : Maintain local network infrastructure & projects
Qualification: CCNA/CCNP/CCSP/CCVP/CCIE
Total years of working experience : 3
Company : ABC Sdn Bhd
Tenure : Permanent/Contract
salary : 4k

Hi, will the salary for a fresh grad for the position of Network Engineer (or other similar network related positions) be higher if the candidate has a CCNA? If so, how much higher? A few hundred bucks extra? How much?

I need the information to negotiate my salary. I will be getting my CCNA before I start my new job next month. Can I ask the company to add RM300 to my basic if I get my CCNA before I start the job? Will they accept it?

Reply here pls: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/820611

Thanks.

Hi kellyC, what does certification allowance mean? Is it something like if you get a cert like CCNP or something then you will a get a raise of your salary?
