depends how old are u, i am thinking age + qualification + experience will determine roughly how much salary for a person.

i dont think age will be a big factor that determine ur salary. Just negotiate the salary with ur future employer based on ur qualification+experience

and i would say that experience refers to how much you have learned in during your working years in companies and NOT the number of years of experience.it is the quality of experience and NOT the quantity of experience. some people might have 10 years experience but what they know is lesser than the years of working experience so make sure you learn as much as you can when you are young. normally you learn more in small companies cause you will need to do more work.

I was in a smaller O & G company before and you need to do everything from planning till cost control for project engineering but in bigger company, they have separate depts to do them

What is 30+? 31yo is 30+, 39 yo also is 30 +

Depends on how good the fella is also lah.If he is very good, climb faster.

And if the fella fly everyday, then he got more flight hours,of course promoted faster lor..depends on the attitude of the person lah.

Actually MAS promotes its pilots based on seniority..you cannot 'jump cue'..you can be a ace-pilot but when it comes to selecting the right candidates for command training, seniority ALWAYS comes first..the fella ahead of you in the seniority list regardless of how good he really is as a pilot will get the slot..if 2 or more applicants have the same seniority number, then they will look at your performace(ie base check results, conversion course performance, line check results etc)
