Yes.....it is a good news, definitely will increase the selling price. There is a big different between strata title & DOA.

If JMB repaint the building somemore, the price can easily 200psf and above.

Oic....oni to CL floor  ....IMO better save more money first, and then 1 shot to do it lah.

Because separate 2 times painting most costly compare to 1 shot, in term of manpower & material.

A Boom? how much it will cost? Any estimate figure can provide?

How about last time pay to them 2% for verification? is it consider pay oledi???

Their list is per unit or per owner, for instance, previous owner of unit A already did the verification & then sold unit A to new owner, new owner has to still pay the 800 + 1% for verification again or not? 

Maybe the management can put up something like additional sinking fund for the repainting, so the residents only pay one amount (says RM400 - RM500 additional) in several years for the repainting.

I am refering to some old post saying resident here low income + low education. Thanks for the "constructive" destruction.

I am a resident staying in Bukit Oug for 8-9 years. From the moment i move into units here, undeniably, the management suck... but i've seen alot of improvement done in this 2 years. CCTV, Painting, tighter security and access cards.

I will say that improvement is coming along step by step. i feel even comfortable in this year or 2 coming back home nowadays.

as for the asking price and purchase price, both party need to agree with the price before the deal is signed. If you do not agree with the price, go for next. If you think it's good, get the deal right. You can say resident is defending their property but you will not see the improvement if you are not staying there and attending meetings.

Outsiders may not know what changes is coming along as they already leave this property with a bad impression in their head.

I sincerely hope that the title problem will be solved soon. the LRT build and also access road opened. this will at least ease my travel time. Price increase or decrease is up to you to predict base on your own judgment.

i will hold on to my unit here and getting another one for investment. Just wait and see the result. 

few decades ago bukit jalil was a rubbish dump. Please check the property price now. In property, nothing is impossible.

I know better as i worked as a mortgage consultant. Please rethink when u claim the resident here has low income, who are you comparing with?

DBKL will stop the developer clearing the land immediately & do investigate on that. Once they know the developer cleared the land without permit, then the developer will get fine.

Anyway, at least good start 1st....for sure we need JMB keep follow up~

Vince, I tot u purchased your unit recently only? If yes, your unit should have already been verified. Why don't u check with Ler Lum?

I bought my unit in 2007 and Ler Lum confirmed that my unit has already been verified, so I save on this step. My lawyer also confirmed that while they are in the verification process, I don't need to do anything. Just wait for Ler Lum's feedback.

I really don't like current color at lobby lift area been painted since begin of the year...
the look like damn old & cheap flat style....

As a designer, I really hopefully management will choose the Grey colour + white colour...

Paint + Wall Tiles
Adrian told me he is thinking to do the wall tiles rather than just painting at the lobby,
because no point to repaint so many times at that easy get vandalism area...

If make the wall tiles will solve the problem & look clean also.
Final decision will do or not still don't know... My task are just show him the look & feel
