Dear all,
I live here and have been staying in Bukit OUG since 2007. Allow me to clear any doubts you have. There are 4 different exit and entry points to Bukit OUG condo. 1. via Jalan Taman Tan Yew Lai (off Jalan Puchong main road). Lookout for landmark which is Pure Life Society building on your left (coming from Old Klang Road). The junction/turning with traffic lights is right next to it. 2. via Jalan PPR Kg. Muhibbah (also off Jalan Puchong main road). Also a traffic light junction. Look out for signboard saying PPR Kg. Muhibbah on your left (coming from Old Klang Road). 3. via KESAS Highway. After Bukit Jalil toll (RM 2.20), take the first flyover road (signboard will say OUG/Taman Bkt Jalil) and then go in through Jalan Awan (landmark is commerce area - Steven's Mamak). 4. via Old Klang Road. Take the road leading to Parkson/Citrus Park (formerly Yaohan). Go towards Steven's Mamak, and then refer to point 3. |

Bukit OUG is a great place to live in. A few good reasons:
1. It's away from the hustle and bustle of city noise and pollution, yet close enough to get to city within 20 minutes! eg. If you use the KL-Putrajaya highway (located almost next to the condo, accessed via Point 3 above), you reach Jln Bukit Bintang/Jln Tun Razak/Jln Raja Chulan within 15 minutes with no traffic jam AT ALL!!! reason : no one except OUG residents have easy access to the highway) 2. It's a peaceful, serene and tranquil place to live in, full of many greens everywhere. Trees line up the roads and although the KESAS highway is next to the condo, you rarely notice it because of all the trees and forests surrounding it. 3. In the past 3 years, many of the empty units have now been filled with local and foreign (Middle Eastern) families. It can be seen during the Resident Association meetings. This has resulted in the way the condo is being managed. This post has been edited by house: Jan 24 2009, 04:45 PM |

Sorry...Anyways, there IS a google marker for Bukit OUG condo on the net. A few residents there have already put it down on the net. Google it. Added on January 24, 2009, 4:49 pmOh, by the way, apparently the one of the new LRT stations is gonna be built close to the condo. This post has been edited by house: Jan 24 2009, 04:49 PM |

QUOTE(alanyuppie @ Jan 24 2009, 04:55 PM) actually i;ve driven there using the "steven corner" road as i am interested to see how the townhouse looks like. its a nice concept and environment. but there are termite problem once, and of course OUG condo's price drop for the last 10 years. I heard before they were built, the developer promised a direct connection to kesas highway, but it never implemented. Yes, it is actually (the concept). BOTH the condo and townhouses follow the same concept i.e. a village styled concept where you should be able to find basic necessities within compound. I'm even more curious to find out additional routes entering the area. For the condo, i can say its almost there. We've got 2 chinese restaurant, 1 indian restaurant, 1 indian barber, 2 salons, 1 kopi tiam styled shop, 4 grocery shops, 2 laundry shops and 1 day care centre. In fact, there are many more shops available for rental, i guess its just about time when the place is 100% packed, then all the remaining empty shoplots will be snapped up. However, for the townhouses, am not sure, i have not been inside the compound for quite a long time. But overall, the concept is almost the same, except for the unit design (this is whats relayed by the management office staffs whom i know quite well). I heard the same story about termites, but from what i know, they only affected the town houses, which is normal in many housing areas. TRUST ME, all housing areas/estates have this problem (termites). You just dont hear about it. House owners NEVER say it loud, because they fear their house pricing will drop if and when they want to sell it. It's a fact. But so far, as far as i can see, the town houses are occupied quite well, standing quite good as well. Haha....dont think termites are a problem there. Added on January 26, 2009, 10:01 pm QUOTE(pilotHans @ Jan 26 2009, 02:03 AM) r u guys kidding me.....a condo with termites problem HAHAHAHA......you guys are being paranoid! I have not heard of a condo getting termite problem, simply because of the way a condo is constructed. Usually they might have problems as in individual units (thats normal by the way!), but never the whole condo itself. LOL! No such thing la..i live there in the condo for the past 3 years, no such thing. (and...my furniture is all wood, and still standing perfect!) LOL! Yes, i agree, OKR is great to live in. Yes, its jammed on weekdays, tell me where its not?! But on weekends and overall, its a great location to be in, centre of EVERYTHING! This post has been edited by house: Jan 26 2009, 10:04 PM |
