for flexi loan it might be possible... even if you offset the entire balance, there's still a minimum charge every month...
but it depends on your loan amount and how far you are till the lock-in period ends whether it's wiser to redeem or offset everything if for conventional loan... i guess you just don't redeem the loan, pay whatever the maximum imposed by the bank... let's say you owe the bank 100k, you just pay up to 90k so that the lock-in fee won't kick in, maybe that's what the bold part means? |
