I have been using a VS n grounding cables in all my cars for more than 3 years (branded, non branded & self made) n I can tell u that all that I have use works, some better than others depending on the capacitors used & in what combinations. Most self made VS consist of high capacity low discharge caps conbined with low capacity caps but with fast discharge rate, branded VS uses high capacity caps with high dscharge rate and they will normally add in a control n safety board to control the discharging rate & prevent overheating. I now use home made VS using good Japanese caps in various combination. My last one was built 30 months ago n it still works.

To me the most important issue here is whether we get what we pay for.
My two cents worth with no intention of pissing anybody

Yes, the VS really works. Try asking those ICE that spend thousand for a giant capacitor in their sound system, they will tell you how different it makes.

As long as you use good quality caps, recommended at least 16V with heat tolerance 100centigrade and above. Also reported how VS response depends on the total Farad and your engine capacity (CC). As most VS's Farad are tuned for higher CC car, some k-car will not notice significant change but it still works. [I am not an EE engineer, just what I read from those Taiwanese car magz]

I just installed a PB kit inclusive of grounding just now.
Nice guy but i didnt feel any changes regardless of smoother drive or brighter lights.Do you need to wait for awhile till you notice the difference?

I would like to comment on something, no offense yeah bro.

But one cable, just to ground the alternator, is not grounding. Grounding normally consist of 5 or more cables, running to different parts of the car. For example, the throttle body, engine head, ecu. All these are vital parts for grounding to improve the efficiency of an engine.

On your saga, you can feel the different straight away and it will get better after a few days as some cars tend to respond slower.

A negative point from the battery to any part of the car is call ground. If its not called grounding , then what should I call it ?
Any supporting website saying ground to the alternator is not call grounding but something else? (what is the name?)

Woah chill bro, why get so worked up so easily. lol .

correct its called grounding, but its only 1 grounding point. I hope you can state clearly in your first page, that its 1 point grounding. When you say grounding, people thought its the whole set.

lol

U contradicted yourself. A grounding is a grounding whether it's 1 cable or 10 cables.

I prefer a good 1 cable grounded to the correct most efficient point compared to 10 groundings of lousy cables.

That is what i am trying to say. Thank you.

I dont understand when jiash87 say grounding is not grounding but its grounding. blink.gif

The grounding is installed at the most efficient point compare to others grounding set which runs like sotong to other location which probably doesnt even gives any good result.

Yes a grounding kit has to connect to the alternator, that everyone knows. Even when I install grounding kit for members, alternator is a must point.

But what I'm trying to say is, could you please state there 1 point. When i first read your thread, i thought its a 5 point kit. But I guess its good marketing, get ppl to enquire about your offer, since normally a 5 point kit cost quite a fair bit.

Not everyone, bro. I seen many cars have grounding but its not on the alternator. Even you go to assesories shop also they dont install on the alternator especially on kenari kelisa , myvi and some other cars which is hard to reach .

Yes. Like reset ECU (on some cars can be done by removing the batery terminal) and it takes few days for the ECU to slowly adjust back everything (air fuel ratio, ignition timing, ATDC etc etc)

Yes, we do shipping by Post laju for outstation too. Installation is quite straight forward. Free post laju for outstation but without the ground cable (coz its hard to install by DIY).
