URGENT help needed!

Anybody know which shop in Penang sells Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3 below RM400? I went to GZ today but they said out of stock till January... While Swisspac need to pre-order, and a lot more expensive

Anyone know anyplace to recommend?

From their price list, they only have DS3L I want DS3...

I went to Gadget Zone Prai, but they told me all their branch also no stock

Are there any other models/brands which are similiar/on-par with the DS3? I heard Abit IP35-E is quite buggy

I need the board by next Monday, going for my studies and must set my comp up...

Hmm... But I prefer to buy some place near my home so it's easier to send for warranty. OCing ma, easier to kill when running at higher speed with boosted voltage

But I will come home on weekend ma Plus, sending such a big thing down to KL is a bit troublesome.

And what/who is "preless"?

I'll try to visit BJ. One of my problems is living in BM, need to go so far to find a PC shop

Payment is not a problem though, can transfer

Is the DS3L good enough? Maybe I'll opt for that instead

Hmm... Now this is kinda weird, for the very first time I actually realised that some computer goods in Penang are actually cheaper than in KL

RAMs and motherboards for example...

Well... The DS3 is RM10 more expensive in KL and so is the RAM. I saw people selling Hynix KVR for RM85 in Bulk Orders while I bought for RM6X only

Motherboard haven't buy yet, every shop I went to on the Mainland (Within Penang) is either out of Gigabyte or don't sell them. Most shops keep recommending me INTEL, MSI or ASUS ABIT, can't see any shadow pun

GZ Prai still have 3 Hynix left I think, Rev. C. Saw Patriot Value Series as well, are they better?

I'm only aiming for 900++MHz OC for the RAMs, rather save up for a better GC I thought X38 is already out, but P35 outperforms it, no?

intothefantasy told me the DS3 already reached its EOL, true? If this is the case, any other good OC boards below RM450?

I'll be overclocking, that's for sure... It's a must for Intel CPU

Erm, any specific reasons why not DS3L? Looks quite alright to me.

Wasted a total of 3 hours today just to look for a board, went from place to place... What la... Everywhere also out of stock, Gigabyte so popular meh?

I initially ordered a DS3L from Gadget Zone, waited 4 days for them to transport it from their warehouse and finally when I wanted to go collect today, they told me they sold it... WTF? Reserved already but sold to some one else and didn't even bother to notify me, such unprofessionalism is rather dissapointing from a shop I used to think highly of

Anyway, went to Penang Island, got caught in a few jams and finally reached BJ. One shop tried to sell me an Asus P5K SE for RM499, reason is because that's his last board Well... He can keep it. Checked out a few more shops until I passed by one, saw the glimpse of a few Gigabyte boxes and went staight in. Was so happy to actually find 2 box of DS3L and 1 last unit of DS3R on the shelf, grabbed the DS3R straight away for RM450, a good enough price right? Don't need the RAID feature but I was so desperate for a DS3 variant I didn't mind paying a lil extra

Problem is most if not all shops are out of DS3 Btw, where is Precess o? Didn't see them... But I didn't go to the top floor because already found and bought a DS3R at Ma[something ] for RM450

Didn't see Pristine also, guess I must be in a real hurry to actually miss so many
