From review, yes, it is better than MX-2unless 1-2'c different do brings a lot of meanings to u, then go for Tx-2... from lowyat user testing, so far didnt see anyone done this 2 item review... The temp different is around 1-3'C lo... but the price, TX-2 is cheaper RM3 than MX-2 mah... slightly better performance and cheaper price... |

QUOTE(tachlio @ Dec 23 2007, 09:47 AM) but i plan go to 79gt/7950 2nd hand.. IMHO, the x1900series is better than 7series. maybe u can try those card. performance wise, the 3850 is better in most of the game compared to those card. however, in high reso, the 3850 might lose to x1900xt/1950xt...does the 3850 performance can on par with 79 series? and the price for 3850 need 650+~ if u dont wanna hassle of setup watercooling, u may tried the all in one watercooling sell by metalzone. Swiftech H20-120 compact. rm600...the performance good also... |

When overclocking set in, 7900GT would perform better though. BTW, any prove that X1950XT pwn 3850 in high reso ?? QUOTE(zeustronic @ Dec 23 2007, 03:52 PM) Most of new games HD3850 perform better, moreover the new Catalyst 7.12 optimised for HD38xx series. u r getting smoother gameplay in UT3 & Crysis. agreed...latest games sure 3850 performs better...thats y still thinking to grab this one, or 2ndhand 8800gts coz both the price same. of course the 3850 is new and the 8800gts is 2ndhand one... |

QUOTE(tapirus @ Dec 23 2007, 03:42 PM) If you plan to SLI or X-fire a high end card in the future, get ST75ZF... coz it is higher wattage, and as long as you manage your connection well, dun plug all gc in the same rail, it has no problem If you just want the system to be stable, and wont go for SLI or X-Fire high end card in the future, then just go for the OP650, the OP650 is enough juice for future upgrade... if you have a little more money, go for Gigabyte Odin GT 800W, modular, multi rail, and have good review in johnnyguru website, the price is around RM620, and the stability are abt same with the silverstone one... from the jonnyguru review, you can see the ST75ZF arent perform really good, gigabyte and corsair are perform better than ST75ZF in term of stability... in my opinion, gigabyte and corsair are wise choice... I just dun understand why so many ppl in the forum encouraging ppl to go for silverstone one, not every silverstone psu are perform very good, maybe so many ppl encourage sst becoz many of them, their PSU are sponser by inter-asia, just my 2cent, MOD please dun band me... |
