guys
my thread was deleted..initially i didn't know why but i guess its because of the pirated games in it. Now that i know, is there any chance i can retrieve the thread back? Ill do necessary changes. It's my first time posting there and i did not know the policy because i was not selling it, its just free gift for whoever buy the modded xbox.

anyhow, i hope its possible cause im scared that some people who are interested with my sales might be put off because of the deletion. Thanks

imo, i'd hope a simple warning from the mods could be done first rather than straight deletion. It's not easy to type those things and photos again

Sometimes i found that its very weird...

Some illegal stuffs posted but mods just locked the thread but never invisible it...
And sometime less-illegal stuff posted but its invisibled..

You must understand mods code of conducts.
Any thread contain illegal products are deemed to deletion.

It's easy, you think DBKL will give chances to pirated DVD/VCD/CD/Games sellers??

You shouldn't even be promoting your extra "stuff" as distribution of illegal, pirated, and/or commercial software is prohibited.

If I were to ask what the extra "stuff" was, what would you answer?

I prefer you put Free gift (without any quotation, etc.) instead of Free "stuff" Please do make changes... zzz.
That way makes your free stuff are more suspicious.

but a straight deletion is too harsh. Some people like me, first timer poster and didn't realised it was a mistake. At least let us view the our thread and see what mistake was done probably just lock it up. In my case, all i need to do is delete some words and replace it with new ones.
Anyhow i appreciate what the mods are doing to curb illegal stuff.

I do understand your concern. But, IMO, if the illegal stuff(example : Atari games) is posted here and made to be sold, and if Atari find outs, I believe LYN will be the one that get's lawyer letters soon. Else, LYN might be instructed to be closed/shut down.

Anyway, let's Mod or Admin answer this. It's just my logic that tells me why.

could we discuss/sell modded consoles OR homebrew enabling devices (R4, Passkey, etc)? it's not against the forum rules right?
