Where do you set practice sessions to be longer than 20 minutes?

We're going out to a restaurant this evening.
Told the wife, no more restaurants after that until next year! (tomorrow)

I'll be racing later on tonight, need my fix and no party here this year.

Don't underestimate Penzman. I think I traveled through time yesterday.

What's with that driver Liuzzi in 1st video talking about "living on the edge" 3 times in 90 seconds. I don't say it often but, so gay....

That server PCcrazy is talking about seems to be filled with Italian, Spanish and German drivers.

Crazy laps I saw...





Race start was a disaster though. Not much discipline on there, formation lap had plenty of accidents and spins. The start? I banged into a Toro Rosso with engine already on fire.

I was mad that I crashed into the stopped car in front of me at the green lights, I did not stay around to watch the 18 lap race (4 am). I bet many who are flying can't keep the car on track for 18 laps with such low wing settings, I ll watch again to see how many actually finish a race.

I also always practice with race fuel. I don't see the point of fooling myself with wing and gear settings that won't work for half the laps when a race begins.

When I try to join (I launch rFactor on same pc) I get time out after I m asked for password... Can t use same pc for racing ?

I've used 243.106 41.14 and updated the server list a few times, no MSR...

Help with gear ratio:

Here's my problem, when I m in the grid stretch, my 7 th gear is either
too short 22/25 (6.364)
or
too long 24/24 (6.400)
there s no thing between those two ratios...? Seems it would be perfect, for hi and lo fuel.

Any way to resolve this without messing up my lower gears, I tried to compensate with the 6 th gear a bit longer, still... I can't find the middle

Here are my gear ratios

1 12/33 (15.400)
2 12/27 (12.600)
3 13/25 (10.769)
4 15/25 (9.333)
5 22/32 (8.145)
6 19/24 (7.074)
7 22/25 (6.364) or 24/24 (6.400)

Cannot find "ftp://ftp.tm.net.my/incoming/New Folder"

DNS Error - Server cannot be found

Cleaned and greased my momopedals, broke the wires that go to the pots when i screwed the cover back on. The screw chewed through the wire, trying to fix it as fast a s I can before the race...

Looks like DC again...
Got kicked and I opened browser, was still connected.

Before we all got kicked, I think I saw Dr. Nick shouting in the stands...

I was wondering what happened then saw you probably overshot the curve.

I was having a great pace, started 4th, slipped at chicane, was 12th, then worked my way back to 5th even after a quick pit at 11 laps.

EDIT-download started again, and then stopped again...
I already have the original mod, can t someone just send me folders that were modified?

Download restarted and seems to stop again at around 1.74 meg, after a few minutes.

Can't someone just give me modified folders since I have original MOD.?

I'm on that European Fsone server.

I have download manager with Firefox, it won't resume.

I stayed a while, lotsa jerks, one was swaying all over the track, took me out twice in practice. Some awful keyboard drivers too. Depends on the day I guess. Average driver quality is low because of those. PIng average there is 353ms....

Added on January 5, 2008, 6:04 pmMSR MOD: I'm not sure breaking it into multiple files will do anything, I've downloaded a movie since then and also a few mods from rfactor central, all downloads went fine until complete. I think it's whyere the file is hosted that s the problem for me somehow.

I'm going to try hosting it once my download is done, about an hour.

Aw shucks, just when I had it all figured out and just connected successfully to my own dedicated server. Next time, doesn't matter, actually, better you deal with hacks than me.

I'd like to try next time though, see how smooth it runs.

I got an error earlier when testing, laps were not counting properly. Spotter said it was time to pit when i had 4 laps of fuel left.

There is a fix for pit and lights here apparently, see this thread in another forum.
