Hi all, I've had lately an annoying problem with rFactor: when i pushed ALT+TAB to go to windows (to check msn etc) and i tryied to swap back in game (with alt+tab again) i couldnt do it, the screen went black and i had to quit my rF with task manager and open it again.
Well after many beers, winstons and a friendly help (elvis) i finally fixed it!!
Apparently seems there r 2 MODS (HRC Rally and rfx) wich if loaded as default screen in ure rFactor game they cause this problem! If so, try to switch the default mod to a classic one (CTDP F1 2005, V8 supercars etc) close the game and restart it.
You wont have the problem anymore!
Of course u can use the 2 mods and swap to windows with ALT+TAB, important is not to have them as default rFactor screen.
Hope i help many ppl in stop swearing like i did coz of it

EDIT

using DX8 instead of DX9 or DX7 or AUTO, you can use again alt/tab while playing FIA GT or R.F.X.

That's even more important for ppl hosting servers with this MODS

Added on December 1, 2007, 2:25 pmdah ok ke?tak ok ko format ler pc tu......pastu install new rfactor.....jgn tambah apa2 addon termasuk tv display,spotter dan lain2....pastu try.kalu takleh gak ada something wrong ngan pendrive ko tu...tu laa..lain kali beli pendrive yg memahal skit...80gb punye size!!...ada ke ?

ko install fresh rfactor tanpa sebarang addon.Sekiranya ok,ko try masuk satu persatu addon supaya ko bleh detect addon mana yg mendatangkan masalah pada ko.MSR hanya merekemenkan addon TV Display dan Spotter sahaja.Sekiranya anda menggunakan selain dari addon yg disebut tadi dan berlaku apa2 kejadian atau kecurian pihak MSR tidak akan bertanggungjawab oleh itu berjimatlah dlm menggunakan air....selamat maju jaya...majulah bawang utk negara.
