ten pages and nobody shared openoffice.org? it's a java-based office suite that include word processor (writer), spreadsheet (calc), presentation (impress), formula editor (math) and simple drawing program (draw). there's windows version along with linux version, downloadable anytime of the year completely free (libre and gratis). it also support MS's document format like .doc, .xls and .ppt, though by default, it favours open document format (ODF).
another would be GIMP, a close enough (me thinks) replacement to adobe photoshop and to some extent illustrator. it too is open source and available on windows platform.
