I am not sure if this has been answered before,
I know Wii is region locked, for its games.

But what about its accessories ?
Let's say If i have a Jap Wii, but got a US 's wii mote ,is it gonna work the same way it does with the Japanese wiimote?

What about a Jap wii, a Jap nunchaku + US wii mote?

NO its not, i have a Japanese controller working with my US Wii...

All Accessories have no region lock.

so no worries. just buy them and confirmed to be used on any console without any problem

I am in an exactly opposite circumstance than you, I have a Jap wii ,planning to purchase a few more wiimotes, but ya know it's pretty hard to find some single Jap wiimote for sales nowaday

dont worry it will work...it shares the same signal as all other Wiis...in fact the other consoles have region free accessories as well,
