OMG!!! My nokia 6230 crashed for it's first time. I installed an application. It was sucessful but when I open it in Applications>Collection>Select application It restarted itself. Damn, I wonder what's wrong, after I uninstall that program. The phone is fine again.

One thing I don't like about my nokia 6230 is that some of the java games can't be enjoyed cause it doesn't show full screen.

I don't know about SE, but for Nokia, the Nokia PC Suite application installer will recognize *.jar files for mobile phones. Maybe you should check out the SE website to get the software. |

SE file manager is not as good as Nokia PC suite IMO, theres no help files! but after u know it all, it quite easy to use.. i mean how can one knows?, to install the darn game, just transfer the files into "none" on the folder!!  i call it the "invisible game folder" from now on  |

this fuction only available using bluetooth, Irda cannot.. well at least mine cant. but it was settle LONG time ago.. so babyk, have u check out the macro capsule games?, that tennis game ni K700i is using this engine.. and there alot more outhere! |

for IrDA,when you put your phone near the IrDA,it will detects it as K700 series phone. then there's a IrDA icon in the taskbar there,double click it then there will pop up a transfer file properties for you. select which drive/files to transfer then click open. that's all. as easy as that. did it on my T310,T610,Z200 |

What are *.Jad files for? They are only a 1kb file. They normally come with *.Jar games.

found solution .. go download Fexplorer ... transfer the JAD file onto ur Gamedeck .. use file explorer and open the file. it will install it .. but its really lousy .. the reso is all out and stuff... |

it depends to what extend the cost is in upgrading lo.. never heard of people upgrading 3650 to 3660.. T610 to T630 screen also rarely got people do.. cuz costly.. |

all the file is in .sis i can install liaw .. but i cant install fifa2004 cos it says not enuff memory .. but i got 150MB... |

hmm..okok...try doing this... unzip the game file.. you should find jad and jar files. Use MobiMB or the Nokia PC Suite (application installer) then ACTIVATE the IR ON YOUR PHONE and then beam the game over... |

Guys, I tried to install puzzle bubble into my 6600 for my first game but failed. Here's what I did:
1. Installed blizzard installer, then I can see blizinstapp in my menu. 2. Copied both puzzle bubble files (Pt.1 and 2) into my MMC. 3. Installation... 4. When it's completed, I found a puzzle bubble folder in e:\system\apps 5. I run blizinstapp in my menu, but couldn't see any puzzle bubble game because it's empty. When I clicked option, install... masih tak jalan How? |

why does ur puzzle bobble has 2 parts? you're suppose to only haf one puzzlebobble.blz file... ^_____^... hmm... you must cut the .blz file from your MMC to the root directory.. which is from E:/systems/apps to E:/ then you'll be able to view your .blz file thru blizzard installer... install it thru there... |

Actually I tried irc before... just that the bot macam not very sensitive on the keywords I type. normally I use @find nokia 6600 xxx, but couldn't get any response. somemore if the DCC chat is on, I dunno how to view the folder or the files inside, because there's no listed folder name from the server. And sometimes, I saw [#1] xxx yyy, then I shall type "dir xxx yyy" or "dir [#1] xxx yyy"? |

OK, now I managed to get puzzle bubble.blz installer and managed to install using bliz installer... and I managed to see a puzzle bubble icon in my menu (so many managed) But, how to go into the game? I opened it, but nothing happens except a 1 second blank screen, then I was in the menu page again. |

Hye.. no need to worry... I can say almost all games that suit triple platform ( v300, v500, v600 ) will suits well on v80, e398 too I heard motorola e398 support micro 3D too... hopefully the game on e398 is worth playing for!! |

elchino_zero, i had installed the PST 6.7, the problem occurs where cannot detect my phone (Cannot connect to phone, connect and power up your phone). Is it because of me using window xp sp1? Any solutions to this?

i have solve the problem mentioned earlier, and had activated my java app loader for e398 and now the problem is when i try to upload the games (JAD files to the phone) using MIDway, problem occurs where TIMER EXPIRED, cannot download.... anyone know what happens???

elchino_zero, here is the solutions to motorola java games uploading... i found from the website, just follow the steps. it will be successful.....
First of all I would like to express my gratitude to the cool guys here in the forum for sharing invaluable tips and advice, which has helped me in successfully uploading games/midlet via Midway. Here's my checklist of ingredients before you read on:- One spoonful of...just kidding... 1 Motorola T720 (software: T720PM_G_05.31_03R Flex:GI5I0E1141 - G.0.0.U.F.P.0.0.KK) 1 Motorola USB Data Kit Cable (Model : 77502) 1 Windows 2000 Operating System (Service Pack 3) 1 PST Phone Programmer for Windows NT/2000 ver 2002.46.2 1 MIDway Version 2.6 Prologue: Let's do a final checklist before we get on this long and windy journey. Okie, before we get started, make sure you have your USB cable connected to the phone at all times, NOT to your computer yet! I need to emphasize this. Read this line again x 2. Okie, make sure you have PST Phone Manager installed. Don't ask me how. Make sure you have Midway installed, RTFM. Now, make sure all USB Composite Drivers are installed, and that you can see the Motorola USB Modem in your Device Manager. If you can't see it, there might be driver(s) that is still not installed. By right, when Windows asks you for the driver, it is the driver where you installed your Motorola PST, in my case C:\Program Files\Motorola\PST> . To make sure that all drivers has been installed, do the following step: a) Close PST Phone Manager, if it's opened.  Unplug T720 from your computer. c) Plug T720 back to your computer. d) Start PST Phone Manager. At this point, Windows searches for any missing driver(s). e) If windows ask for driver's location, just point them to the path I mentioned above. Please skip to step G directly. f) If windows don't ask for the any drivers, this means all drivers has been installed, and you MUST be able to see the Motorola USB Modem in your Device Manager, very likely under the "Modem" list. g) You must repeat step (a) to (e) to make sure that all drivers has been installed. Okie, set, we are ready...boys and girls. For maximum transferring experience, CLOSE ALL other applications to avoid PORT conflicts. Step 01: Plug in T720 to the computer via the cable. Step 02 Open PST Phone Manager. (Tip: Under Settings> PST Config, I use the Auto Detect function, unless you are pretty damn sure of the com port, this works for me!) Step 03 In PST Phone Manager, Select NEW> KJava Files. A new Untitled KJaa Window appears, with all buttons disabled. Step 04 In PST Phone Manager, go to Phone> Read. This is to read available applications that is residing in T720. If it says the infamous "Phone not connected. Please connect and power up the phone." error message, it means PST didn't detect the phone, although you can swear by your life it's connected. It's the way PST works, you now MUST unplug T720 from the PC and repeat step 01. Step 05 In PST Phone Manager, you will see that the buttons have been brought to life! Click on the "Enable/Disable Java App Loader Menu" until you get the message right below the button saying -"Java App Loader Menu is Now Enabled". Step 06 In PST Phone Manager, go to Phone> Restart to restart your phone. Don't miss out this step, otherwise you can't restart your phone. Step 06 Close PST Phone Manager after you notice T720 has restarted (a blink). Unplug T720 from the computer. Step 07 Now, go to T720. In Main Menu select Settings> Java Tools. You must see a "Java App Loader". If you don't see one, repeat all the way from Step 01. Step 08 Select Java App Loader and this message will appear: "Insert Cable Now". Step 09 Now, plug T720 back to your PC. Notice the message: "JAL Link is active..." Step 10 Start MIDway now. If you have started Midway before this step, you just screwed up! Hahaha...unplug your phone and start from Step 01. Step 11 In MIDway, go to File>Settings>. In AT Command, type the following: AT Step 12 In MIDway, to figure out which port to use, go to your Device Manager in your computer, look for the Motorola USB Modem>Properties> Advanced> Advanced Port Settings> and check out the COM Port Number. It should be ranging from 1-4, if not, move current devices which uses either these 4 ports to another COM Port. You must use either one of these COM ports because MIDway only works with COM 1 to COM 4. If you have problem with reallocating COM ports, try a solution search on Google. Whatever it is, it must be synchronize with MIDway's port setting later on. Step 14 In Device Manager> Motorola USB Modem> Properties> Advanced> you should see the text box "Extra Settings". Type in the following: AT Step 15 In MIDway, Using the COM port setting you got from Step 12, check the com port to use. Eg, if from Step 12, you found out you are using COM Port 3, then you should check the radio button for COM Port 3 in MIDway. The only error message you might get is "Can't Open Serial Port. Would you like to change MIDway settings?". You will only get this if the COM port you have selected is in use by other mysterious applications. Step 16 In MIDway, once everything is setup, go to File> Open JAD. Select the JAD file to load. Make sure you check your JAD file's "MIDlet-Jar-URL" attributes is targeted to the JAR file on your computer, not some HTTP reference. You can open up a JAD file in Notepad to edit it. Step 17. In MIDway, do not use the Send AT Command, which I have seen quite a few instructions said you must send an AT command to get a "AT OK" message. I am not sure why, but whenever I did that, the JAD file cannot be loaded. So leave the "Send AT Command" alone for now. You will get a few error messages in this part:- i) Connecting to the phone.... [Fail] Your COM port settings could be wrong ii) Connecting to the phone.... [TIMER EXPIRED] Your COM port setting is correct, but you probably messed with the Send AT Command. In both cases, download is cancelled, and you should start over again from Step 01...whoops. Step 18 If you don't get any error commands, you should get a Download Alert on T720. Step 19 Clap your hands and compliment yourself for this long-awaited victory. Epilogue: They can be many other tips/steps I have missed out, but the steps documented here is tried and worked. Make sure you follow EXACTLY what I have mentioned. "...the order is very important.. hmM..okok..first step... 1. Extract the main ashen_pre-release_ngage_readnfo-engage.rar folder 2. Then you'll see 4 files in the folder. (enashnpr1,enashnpr2,enashnpr3,engage) 3. You may delete engage.nfo 4. Select those remaining 3 files and select "Extract to enashpr1\" 5. You will now have the enashpr1 folder right? 6. You may delete engage.nfo and file_id.txt 7. Now, repeat step 4 again. ("Extract to enashpr\") 8. Copy the entire "6R21" folder to your E:\Systems\Apps. Restart your phone and you'll see an icon on your menu. ^____^ |

Can someone list down some games here which the T610 can support. Games which the T610 can 'tahan'. Some games are just too laggy and take too long to load on this phone. Spoil my gaming mood only. I love my mophun games. They are fast and fun.

i found a link to download all java...but after download it ...my phone a bit sakai.....hang abit then slow to shut down....this occur only if i touch the game section!!! ..so do we have somthing like format and reinstall ? hehe

OK...sorry allow me to ask a ques here:
I downloaded a series of .jar java games. Each games has lots of class files which I'm not sure which one to transfer and execute. Thus I transferred all and as a result all of the class files saved in a folder but I couldn't do anything with them. How the heck i wanna execute the games in k500i with these stupid java classes? |

midway can only open .jad i think..... i sent a game thru midway.. 1st time it worked but application error, so i deleted and sent again, 2nd time it said jar sending failed.
any other software to transter java apps to a motorola phone? thanks |

how to create JAR files? i downloaded some(19) java application and all have Manifest.MF, and some class, and other files, that need to compressed to JAR before can use.
jar cvfm mobilemule.jar mobilemule/META-INF/MANIFEST.MF -C MobileMule/ . this is the command i try, yes, the JAR file came out, but invalid application... tried all and it's the same, wonder where i done wrong. any easier way? |

u guys noe any other way 2 enable and upload java games n app 4 e398 without usin da Midway s/w ?
Java App Loader is not enabled in my fone's Java Settings [must b enabled 2 use Midway] da only way 2 enable it is 2 seem editin it usin P2KMAN da problem here is da P2Kman doesn't work in Windows 98 operating system. There is a P2Kman version that works on Windows 98, but it requires PST and supports only C350 model. [my os is still windows 98se] solutions ? |

splinter cell pandora tomorrow is a very good game.i've finish the game and i found out its a very nice java game to play!
