This is one of the dumbest poll I've ever seen for quite some time. It simply doesn't make any sense and doesn't mean anything.

If you know anything about LCD, I think you will keep your mouth shut in the first place. First of all he is comparing apples with oranges. No budget is stated. And not even model of the LCD compared is listed, just the brands. DELL 24" can be 248WFP or 2407WFPb. Both are new. There are tons of things to look into when choosing a LCD - contrast ratio, panel used, history of backlight bleeding, color reproduction, viewing angle, gradient banding, firmware version, just to name a few. And there is a LCD thread full of info. If only he bother to read it first. If I ask you I were to get a Porsche or Ferrari, is there a definite answer for that?

24" good for movies especially full HD, for gaming standard 4:3 19" should be better no need suffer the frame rates huge widescreen.

I'll go for the 24" since Dell's offer now is considerably very cheap for a 24"

Did I say he is not allowed to ask questions regarding LCD? Read rules No.1 Mr.dk, I assume it is not d1ck. smile.gif

1) Check first before posting for already existing topic. Irrelevant topics will be moved or closed without prior notice or linking.

And there are 2 threads exist for LCD. Official LCD thread and official Widescreen LCD thread.

Questions like that are begging to be flamed and pooped on. Same case for you. Geez, just because the mods in this section are busy doesn't mean the rules should be ignored. You can hit all the spam buttons you want. I'm here long enough to understand how thing works around here man. I rest my case and let the mod move the thread instead.

Cheers and have a nice day, Mr.dk

For ur information MR kian,if it's an irrelavant topic it would have either been move or deleted by the moderator my son, please get ut facts rite before u start barking k?please everyone knows ur trying to get attention here, and somehow u got mine, and now i think u should becareful with ur facts before u state it out..not to forget,TS did not mention whether he wants to get a widescreen or a normal lcd,so i don't think there's a need for u to get pissed any at chance..have a nice day too MR.KIAN..last but not least, the thread is still here in the hardware section after so many days, don't think it's an irrelavant topic i think...so that prove my point..thanks again MR.KIAN
