Yes. But Oracle and SAP is in different markets where one is a database one is a system. You cant make direct comparison that way. Its like comparing berkshire hethaway to microsoft. One is a financial instituition one is a software provider

yes its possible. I have received such offers equipped with only a degree but declined as I hate programming. U may want to try to apply for Axon's Abap Bootcamp |

loads of company's use SAP. The best place to learn SAP is to join a vendor company (those that implement SAP instead of using it to run the business). |

Chances of existing companies using SAP R/3 migrating over to Oracle or Microsoft (LOL @ this one), are minimal. They spent way too much to justify the change.

SAP is a monstrous system. The company has to be able to justify why it is moving from SAP to oracle / microsoft . Dont forget SAP itself is also evolutioning.
The total cost to migrate over is not small. It could be in the hundred of millions depending on company size. And there's some hidden cost to train ppl to use the new system etc. Too big of an impact unless you could tell me oracle / microsoft can come out with something that can offer way more than what SAP cant. |
