thumbup.gif  they said probably around 8-9 ppl for the SD course next month

p/s : is it possible just take the exam paper without attending the course?
*
it is possible if you have a recommendation from your manager, saying that you've certain extent of skills and (or) have completed 2 full cycles of implementation

if not mistaken

Well we've seen alot of ppl coming from the background of FICO, SD, MM, PM, PP...

Just wondering if anyone here (or acquaintance of anyone here) is doing some industry-specific module, say IS-OIL, IS-Automotive etc? Just wondering how good do those ppl being paid in those really niche module

Hi all,

I'm a newbie to SAP. From what I follow through this thread, I have a rough understanding bout SAP in terms where they have different type of modules depending on the company implementing them.

I would like to ask say for a grad like me with 1 year exp in technical support and helpdesk field, will I be suitable and eligible to take up SAP position work?

I'm a grad in Computer Engineering with quite basic knowledge on C and Java. I also have very basic Linux knowledge which obtain from MDEC sponsor training a few years back.

Anyway to try and pick up any of the SAP modules on my own such as ABAP?

Thks for any information and tips.

I think with your experience (and probably preference), technical thing (ABAP, BASIS) might be more suitable for u

SAP functional require more softskills compared to technical. If you think talking to human is much harder compared to talking to machine, technical part might be a better choice wink.gif

hi guys,
Im new in this area. I want to know how to check whether the SAP installation is in One Server System Landscape or Two server system landscape or Three server system landscape. Is there any TCODE that i check that. Moreover, if the system is one server system landscape, how to differentiate and login to DEV and PROD system?

Thank you.
*
No one would want to install DEV and PRD together in the same server, dude! If one did, it would be the worst design ever!

To answer your question (if I remember some of the BASIS things correctly)
1. Go to SM51
2. In SAPGUI you will create 2 system login with 2 different systemID la! (although the IP address would be the same)
