he means you can negotiate for higher pay

a contractor can be involved in just about everything (project, data conversion, support/helpdesk, upgrades, etc etc), which is quite dependent on ur hiring manager

more abapers joining functional means more abap vacancy for freshies

Yes, learning abap is a peace of cake, kacang putih, even i teach floor sweeper who have no experience in programming at all
also can do some codings in abap in 1 week.
But to be a good abaper, it takes YEARS!!

umm.. my colleague work in Shell RM6k basic pay not yet include his travel allowances(non-SAP but project team doing some IT stuff). at 26 yrs old he join my company same time with me, both our pay RM2.2k. he had rm4k pay cut  to get into SAP.

To experienced SAP-ians, my friend wan find  SAP Basis + Netweaver consultant for a project based in Jakarta for a minimum of 6 months.

Hello guys, I'm a newbie in SAP. Just wanna stop by and bump up some questions regarding to my recent job offer. So doubtful whether to take this offer or continue with my engineering job or to look for other SAP job. Your advise and answer is always appreciated.

1. Is SAP BI = Tester ?
2. SAP BI is not a functional role? If no, can SAP BI get into SAP functional?
3. What is the actual job scope as a SAP BI?
4. SAP BI or ABAP, which one is better?
5. any prospect regarding to SAP BI and SAP functional, please comment....
