So, for Functional :- SAP MM,SD,FI,CO,WM,PP,PLM,SCM; no programming is needed rite, then, what does ppl from Functional do???

So ppl who's not from programming background will be able to try SAP functional, what does a SAP functional really do?since i heard ppl from Accounting, Finance can also do SAP funtional...
