Tough luck if you believe on that wink.gif GUIXT is just a scripting language which allows you to customise screens based on user requirement but nothing more than that. I rarely see implementation which requires the use of guixt. ABAP is more than that .. it is the language used by SAP to run the core of the system, without ABAP, the system will be crippled. So, as long as SAP is still in use by businesses, I will say that the ABAPers will still be required. However, the emerging technologies brought by SAP might require you to be proficient in OO and as Java as well. For most of us who just know ABAP .. the future will still be there .. don't worry! smile.gif
Good to hear that...already scared when someone said GUIXT will be replacing ABAP lol...

Hey guys, any place hiring inexperience (in SAP) guys? Finished the functional SD training & cert end of last year. Any pointers would be much appreciated biggrin.gif

p.s, I understand certification is no magic bullet (risked it), therefore am not demanding much.

just send ur resume to any company that use SAP...dont wait for job opening...because u might not know what channel or agent they use to get a new hire...

try sime darby...or they called sime solutions for it department...

I think this would depend on which module of SAP. From what I know, ABAPER's the salary range is quite similar to JAVA developer now a days  shakehead.gif .

my humble opinion.

they use 3rd party software for the RF or IR barcode scanner developed using other programming to interface with SAP ERP. Yes the interface program between 3rd party and SAP is coded using ABAP using XI or e2e bridge programs.

wahhh never touch these...
