In Malaysia, SAP courses can only be legally / professionally provided by Genovate (functional), SAP Malaysia (Functiuonal), and Axon (Basis/Technical). There is no way for you to study through materials of any kinds without the SAP system (IDES).

The cost of functional modules, is now, if not mistaken, RM30,000 per module.

i thought last time was RM25k. You can self-learn but not everyone can do it without a course.

SAP HR is Asia is still growing.
I would suggest to avoid this module is possible. Limited projects.

Just my 2 satangs.

HR module less complex? Ohmygawd.

It's one of the toughest modules out there for the simple reason that no two companies are alike, therefore, the inner workings of the HR system have to be tailored accordingly.

Bright career? Yes. Projects in abundance? No.

I guess every module in SAP is not easy .. it really depends on the business... and the country... for example, implementing payroll is US not easy at all .. considering that every state has different rules for the tax... w-4 are different for each state and yada yada yada....

Consultancy firms deal with clients and users whereas end-users typically only handle internal stuff.

but that depend whether u r functional or technical?
wont you think that you cant go deeper working in consultancy? in end user, you can learn the biz process and delve deeper?

Hmm... I don't think there's much difference whether you're a techie or a functional.

End-user environment is typically not as challenging, simply because there's no pressure of fixing stuff right on the spot. I'm not saying that if there's a problem you can shake your leg, but if you're in a consulting firm, you'll need to fix a problem ASAP as clients would not be happy to have sloppy services.

a consultant can take over support position anytime and anyday, a support can never take over consultant job. So who win?
