now i get the second question. if ever some SAP systems are within the same server, yes they will have the same ip address. but two items differentiate them - SAP systemID (like mentioned above), and the system number (two digit number).

I am a SAP ABAPER from Sri Lanka with 2 year experience. I have worked in more than 7 customer projects on Development & Technical support on modules ( MM, SD, PP, FICO ).

I recently visited Malaysia and I am interested in working in KL. Since the country culture is bit similer to Sri Lanka and there is a lot of SAP exposure.

I would like to know the current market of SAP @ KL and the amount of interest companies have to recruit foreigners ?

Actually im no longer doing only abap.
Right now im doing both BI IP and abap at the same time.
I just upgraded myself become techno functional. Hehe.
To me the pay is just an OK salary only because i already get paid more than rm7K for permenant even after 2 years doing abap.

hi again, i surfed a lot n found that experienced people normally encourage accounting graduates to have 4-5 years of accounting experience before going into sap, by encourage what i really meant is they say it like the only right way to enter the field. i understand the rationale behind this: understanding of accounting transaction treatment,flow,business processes something like tat etc,  so that you can add value to customers when entering sap consulting. But the huge paycut and years lost that could have been the real implementation experience in SAP are really pain in the ass. What i want to ask is, like IT grads that can go straight into technical like ABAP n BASIS, as an accounting grads, can i go straight into functional SAP like fico after graduated without accounting experience(from the aspect of would firm hires fresh accounting grads to do this, and can you go far without the outside accounting experence)? thx 

I've seen IT graduates go directly into FICO as well
