Would this company willing to train us since we are fresh grad and with no any prior knowledge in SAP? I do asked a few companies but they prefer candidates with some basic knowledge.

Really hope that there have a company willing to train us in SAP...

Go to their main site and register an account there. It's listed there periodically.
They use their own "recruitment site", it's quite rare for them to post in JobStreet unless, they really want a large pool.

Heard that SAP exam fee cost RM35k!!
Wondering how people afford to throw so much money to just take an exam, if failed then another rm 35k again...you can even startup your own business with that much money.

no no..the course is 30k++ on average but the exam itself cost is very much cheaper..I heard that SAP basis exam cost 1.8k..so i think the rest should be around the same price..if you fail the exam, you will need to pay for the exam fee again..

well, in general the course is VERY expensive but the exam is very much cheaper..For them to be certified, they have to take an exam right? If not, how can you be certified. Just attending the course is not enough as most people will just sleep in the class. The class is conducted just like normal office hours. 8-9 hours on average and it is very tiring as well.

technically, if u dont have project experience for SAP, u cannot demand SAP market rate. No point pushing the fact u have years of exp in development and implementation in other systems. U will need to follow fresh SAP grad rates - around 2.2 to 2.5k.

Cause if you start asking for super high salary and when the company put u to a client which is demanding - ie u don't know what to do for the client using SAP, let put this way, your value goes down straight to drain. Everyone will see you as a braggart in the firm..

SAP is a small world in Malaysia..

What is the job description for SAP Support and SAP Service Desk Analyst? Anyone know?

Do these two jobs can lead me into SAP field in future since I am a fresh grad without any SAP Knowledge? Will this be a good chance for me?

I do think that both SAP support and SAP service desk analyst points = system administrator..or in SAP, they call it SAP admin..
As far as I know, only SAP basis does these kind of job. SAP basis is on technical part of SAP...and usually, SAP technical is not as well paid as the functional. But it would provide you with good understanding of the whole operations of SAP...and it is not like you cannot jump from technical to functional...

@any one please correct me if i'm wrong~~

Hello guys, I'm a newbie in SAP. Just wanna stop by and bump up some questions regarding to my recent job offer. So doubtful whether to take this offer or continue with my engineering job or to look for other SAP job. Your advise and answer is always appreciated.

1. Is SAP BI = Tester ?
2. SAP BI is not a functional role? If no, can SAP BI get into SAP functional?
3. What is the actual job scope as a SAP BI?
4. SAP BI or ABAP, which one is better?
5. any prospect regarding to SAP BI and SAP functional, please comment....

I'm very interest in ABAP since this is a programming position but I've been offered as a SAP BI.

BILLION THANKS!!!!
