Hi guys, I've just replaced my clutch plate with a new 1.6 clutch plate. The difference is quite obvious. More grip and acceleration cos minimizes clutch slip.

Hi Wira owners, I would like to give a word of advise for Wira modifications. It's just my 2cents comment and please don't flame me tongue.gif

I've been driving Wira 1.5GLi (4G15) for quite sometimes now. This feedback is based on years of experience driving a Wira (I am still driving 1 now)

Modifications done previously up till now:

K&N Air Filter with HeatShield.
9.5mm spark plug cables.
Hotbits front & rear strut bars (must be installed if you love to tackle chicane)
Apex Springs
APM absorbers (Just changed 3days ago to replace KONI abs which is dead)
Enkei RCT-1 15" alloy rims
Bridgestone G22 15/50/195
Bosch Super 4 spark plugs
1.6 clutch plate (Just changed 3days ago)
EBC Black Stuff Brake pads

My comments on Wira's 1.5liter engine is that it can only produce 88HP at stock. No matter how you modify it, you can't really go above 100HP unless you mod it to the extreme which might gives you reliablity issue later. I pretty much prefer internal components of the engine left untouch due to reliability issue.

Tested with V-POWER, maximum speed you can go is 180Kmh @6K RPM. Ordinary fuel will reach 160Mkh though 180kmh is possible but need longer time to achieve.

My advise is, try not to speed too much on Wira. No matter how much you put into it, it's still 4G15 which lack the horsepower for fast pickup and top speed (I know the engine can be mod to achieve over 150HP but those are too extreme which will need frequent maintenance).
