Hi sifus, we've officially crossed the halfway mark of 2026!

With the way the local and global markets have been moving lately, I’m curious to know what everyone's strategy is for this month. Personally, I’m looking to DCA (Dollar Cost Average) a bit more into US tech ETFs and maybe top up my ASB/EPF with some spare cash just to play it safe.

What about you guys?

IS anyone still active in bursa or has everyone went over to usa stocks.

Other than stocks, do local business investments actually work out well for you guys?

if sulah above 2mil, can la take 30% put into stonks but still 70% into EPF to help reach target of 5mil.

But take note, Malaysia's stock market is on sentimental rather than on logic or data facts.
See today's SRKK AI, the AI word got up to 80% jump on first day.
Few weeks ago, the Skyechip, 'chip' word got almost 300% jump

Other than tat, EPF or FD, other forget abt it during this world situation

used to try allocate RM1mil for each ipo.

Assuming succesful application for those "hot ipo" (still slightly hard to get)

about rm50k- rm100k only gets allocated.

Would be lucky if it can 2x on opening.

RM1mil +RM50k = 5% only.


Its alright and good but success rate quite low and takes some time, compared to buying a stock that +10% in a day.

Would be interested to explore those private placement that can have size and allocation, other than the usual retail application route.
