so... if go ev.... now consuming more electricity.... better stick to ice or ev?

or is it that... if u go ev.... then chances are you should also go solar? is that it? or is it if u go ev, u still save vs ice even without resorting to solar. anybody using ev can share

Mine still below RM200 phew. Thought its going over because so hot have switch on fan and aircon together. Lucky before the bill date got a couple of days heavy rainfall.

One fridge, one aircon, one water heater, one washing machine.

7 inverter AC, ( 3hp x 2, 1.5 hp x2, 1hp x 3)
1 inverter fridge
1 heat pump dryer
1 tank/storage water heater
1 hot/cold water dispenser/filter
1 ev (scam) with average of 2000 km per month

The TNB charge rate has tiers. Those whose bills are calculated within Tier 1 and Tier 2 is just being surprised because during hot Jun month the electricity usage jumped up and rate went into Tier 3. That is what I think happened.

That's the old tariff. Now they have freaking 16 tiers of decreasing rebates every 50kWh, this is the ICT. Then surcharge conditions at 300, 600 & 1500 kWh. And a moving target called the AFA. Makes the spreadsheet much more complicated.
