Hi everyone,

i have a small events with some performance, during the performance on the main stage, we also have 2 projectors at the sides, we want to kind of stream the main stage to the side projectors, and also add some captions during the stream.

we will probably connect a camera or small video recorder to the laptop before projecting to the projector, is there a way to insert lines of words, like making a live subtitle?

Have you tried OBS studio?
There's subtitles plugin for it.

Will have a look into it

i mess around with powerpoint cameo camera but it seems like not stable, video input from camera will suddenly stop eventhough camera still on, not sure if ppt has some timing limit or what.

OBS studio is designed for streaming stuff, shouldn't be a problem with video feeds.
