high cca doesnt mean high capacity. it just tell how much current can be draw when cranking.
that charge cycle can be honest as sodium ion could go as high as 15000cylces, but they need to limit the upper voltage to do so, limiting the capacity even mor.e

dont ask battery hater like myself.
if it want to die, it will die.

if you come from ns60 lead acid, maybe you could consider downgrading to ns40, but sodium. it will be cheaper for you to enter.

But from Shopee. There are companies inside there that offers installation also. But i do not have idea if they do roadside assistance like bateriku. But you save an average of RM50-60 by going Shopee route.

If the regular batteries confirm dies at 25000km regardless of warranty years like mine did, then it probably makes sense to buy sodium ion that dies at 50000km. But the cost RM200 compared to RM500 today doesn't make economic sense to me.

When i installed the super capacitor back then at RM 220 in addition to the new battery RM200 with a total cost of RM440, which is high for a Myvi. Unless i can prove that my combination goes 50000km disregarding warranty, then i probably saved some money going this route.

Sodium Ion was not sold widely last year compared to this year. On my shopee app today Aeson NS40 is promo to me at RM405. Which is cheaper than what i paid for my combo. I would have went this route if this was sold at this price back then. They guarantee 50000km compared to my unknown mileage setup.

The only benefit now is that i do not need to look at bateriku for new battery instead of shopee that i could buy an Amaron for RM158 with delivery/ installation. I'm using bateriku Astra for RM200 now. This battery died on me previously at 27000km with few months warranty left. (Cannot claim sad.gif )

never rely on those installation from shopee
can rely on them deliver it but install yourself because they DO NOT know how to uninstall and install it properly

9/10 times they install wrongly because they thought can unplug whichever terminal they want and plug whichever terminal they want back
and THAT will cause your car system to short circuit

I got consider the Aeson sodium ion battery price to my current astra + super capacitor combo price. Sodium ion more expensive than my set up.

Another thing is the 3 year warranty cover 60000 km.

With my old astra battery without capacitor, the battery died in 27000km in 1 year 3 months. Can't even claim the 18 months warranty. Price was rm 200. Super capacitor price was rm 220.

Yes my initial setup cost rm 420. And the current set up would be 1 year this July.

So far cranking is still strong.

If I need to change new battery I would be going shopee route instead of bateriku and save additional rm50.

Whatever brand even the one I'm using Bosch can tahan 2 and half years.. drive alot or not by 2 years the time coming up.. now cars with more electronics even faster not even 2 years

Only the one come with my car Ori from factory it's good.. it's black no brand name on the sticker but 3 years plus near 4 years only change when the reading is not nice anymore

pros: ringan by roughly the weight of 1 small bottle of RO water compared to regular lead acid battery

cons: 4 times the price of regular lead acid battery.

who the fuk thinks this is a good deal??
*
It surely cannot last 4 times longer than regular lead acid batteries despite 4 times the price.

That is the main argument.

this setup is too scary for me bro.
got fuse between the cap and the battery terminal?
i worry the capacitor going to accidentally power surge the car ECU. ECUs are sensitive.

Modern cars no need this setup. This is 2008 Myvi. Not so much electronics as new gen Myvi. If there is a surge and the 2 fuse box (cabin & engine bay) in the car isn't doing its job, then thats on perodua isn't it? laugh.gif

I only use my car once every 2 weeks. the battery just one year already show signs of weakness when start.

Infrequent use of your car is not healthy for the battery as the battery will self discharge over time and it is made even worse with the parasitic drain from all the modern electronic features.
