its a legit foul , the egypt player won the ball thru a foul and then it lead to a goal, thats why referee overturned it after checking the VAR, its fair and square

and for the "foul" on salah that lead to argentina goal, its not a foul, the argentine defender won the ball fair and square before salah fell down, the VAR team checked it when the argentine team celebrating and found no foul and thats why the referee of the game didnt overturn it

the egypt goal took so long to overturn because thats the process of VAR, while the egypt team is celebrating their goal, the VAR tesm behund the scenes was already checking the goal and then only tell the referee if they feel there is a problem, then only referee himself go check the VAR monitor for the final decision, thats why take so long, VAR team check first when egypt players celebrating then only referee of the game check

if no problem like the salah "foul" that lead to argentina goal, then the VAR team will tell referee no problem no need to check VAR, thats why the decision seems fast and referee very fast make decision without checking VAR
