Perodua had to 'relaunch' this car only after severe lacklustre demand in it when it was launched back in December 2025, however, asking price is still not realistic IMO. I'd rather buy the Leapmotor B10 low spec for that outright pricing. A much better value proposition.

Perodua should approach Grab or car rental to take up as fleet , the confidence starts with them , not individual buyer

the exit contract condition on the battery is still very complicated even for outright purchase

If you take outright puchase the battery is on your own and they will only provide the warranty as per it.
Warranty is 8-year or 160,000 km, if anything happen to the old battery after warranty ends Perodua can buyback (mostly at scrap value or a discount on new replacement) to help disposal/recycle. Mostly this will depends on that time scrap market price, like current used metal price will fluctuate time to time.

People aldy had Primacy Bias toward Q-EV model.
Thus, this model conlanfirm would be a failure mode in P2 marketing history.

By the way, that Marketing CEO and Director masih kat office P2 ke?
If yes ->
Why are they still in there?

2)Government will pay for the loss

because there tons of KOL and braindead netizen. prolly management taking survey and it being praised from these people hence moving into wrong direction.

Knocked my head twice when sitting inside this car, once driver seat b-pillar then back seat c pillar. Never kena before. This is a real cramp car which won't sell much, might as well make it a niche hot hatch... Pirelli tyres / 250kw motor / slash batt by half for lighter weight / garang bodykit, hey, it might even sell better... LOL

Size does not matter. The bigger issue is as far as P2 as a brand is concerned, we are barely recognizable beyond Malaysian soil.

Hence to give it a serious go, we need to follow some good examples

I will give you three examples of small EV becoming popular because of using commercial fleet route:

the Dacia Spring, the Bolloré Bluecar, and the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV.

There is no shame in doing so because BYD done it, BAIC done it even Geely done it back home in China and then in London

Even MG and GAC done that too

Only time will tell, hope they change in time for the better, it is not a good thing for P2 to have a poor debut of first EV, not a good thing seriously, I hope it just adjust strategies and not remaining a homegrown one (poor) hit wonder then disappeared into oblivion

The least they should do is follow Nio's footstep if they still want to be conservative and remain at Malaysian soil.
