M14 uses the 7.62mm round. So it does have more stopping power. But heavy on the recoil which led to the M16 by Eugene Stoner.

accuracy is not affected at all with silencer, just the damage is reduced slightly.
and thats why you zoom, cos then there is almost zero spread.

silencer i only use on hardcore servers, and those where you only get 1 life
the rest i dont bother...just run and gun.

As for the headshot part....that was really odd...

But the best part of the single player must be the Spectre Gunship level (for me at least)

I was wondering whether I can setup up a small private online game with just my frens.
I created an Internet game then it jumped to a console box.
I re-opened COD4 MP and join to the ip address given in the console box but it always say "Server connection time out"?
Any ideas why? Am I doing anything wrong?

About Spectre 'Spooky' gunship...took a while to understand friend and foe...errr...the "shining" thingy on the foes 

Lazy lah to play arcade...maybe will try multiplayer.

On the gunship there's three(3) different guns.
I never used the machine gun.
Just shoot at the soldiers when they're far from the church.
