Bro, sorry to jump in like this, and sorry for the noob question.  sweat.gif  Would like to ask. A widescreen PC LCD monitor basically has an aspect ratio of 16:10(compared to a widescreen LCD TV which is 16:9), rite? So, does the image usually appear stretched for the LCD monitor? Is it too obvious?  sweat.gif

It will be stretched slightly if the monitor does not support 1:1 pixel mapping since the aspect ratio is different. However it is not that noticeable (well at least for me)

Mine is 60GB (which is hard to find in shops now). Bought it since August 2007. Been running fine ever since, even though i've used it for more than 8 hours quite frequently. My room has no air-conditioning. thumbup.gif

Hi nizam80 .. we have the same model (60GB) smile.gif
It does feel hot near the bottom side under the BD slot but so far no problem thumbup.gif

Do u need to swap everytime whenever u 1 2 use windows?

Let say im hocking up PS3 with my computer via 24" Dell 2407WFP...PS3 connect to DVI...Computer connect to Analog iz possible?
*
Yes. PS3 can connect to DVI while the computer connects to VGA. There's a input switch button to switch between these inputs (for 2407, you will have VGA, DVI, S-video, composite and component, so be prepare to push a few times to cycle through the inputs).

I seldom playing it due I work during weekdays and only time i got to play is during weekend (that is less than 4 hours since I am a Family man)

The interesting part, Bernard did say it is a common problems for PS3 regardless which version, except the 1st 20 gb version.

And the main culprit is overheating on the lens. (Bernard told me again.) Can't be playing on average less than 24 hours per week caused that?

And the final verdict from Bernard is when ever you finished playing, please remove the BD  from PS3 before you shut it off. (now that's the thing I didn't do, coz lazy after turn it off leaving the BD inside all the time during standby mode)
*
Well, last time I used to leave the BD inside PS3 when turning it off, and turn on and off and on and off ...... Occasionally, did hear the sound of the BD lens moving when the PS3 is powering up. Then, read somewhere (forgot where tongue.gif ) that it is best to remove BD before turning it off, which I follow everytime now (unless i forget). Somehow now feels the lens is noisier compared to the time when I first got my PS3 hmm.gif Haha, maybe I'm influenced by what I read.
