QUOTE(mois @ May 23 2008, 05:07 PM) hi guy, i connect my ps3 to old tv by AV cable...i on my console, plug my controller to ps3, but how come nothing display? i tried my ps2, and ps2 can on....but ps3 cant.....how? dude, are you switching from LCD TV to CRT TV? if that the case then you need to configure the input source in LCD TV before unplug everything to you CRT TV. First you need to plug both HDMI cable and component cable on PS3 and TV input. Go to XMB change the display input from HDMI to component cable as a input. once you press O to accept the change your TV screen from HDMI input will go blank then you have 30 sec to switch to component cable input on either AV1 or AV2 or AV3 input display. You will see the XMB display on the screen from the AVx input and need to accept yes to accept the change. You PS3 wil accept this new configuration as a display input. You will also need to configure the sound to component cable on XMB, if not you will not hear any input from your CRT TV. After that you can switch off everything and move your console to your CRT TV locations. PS: You don't need to do this procedure if moving from CRT to LCD with HDMI since PS3 will auto detect HDMI once you plug in. |
