Hey guys i plan too get my PS3 soon... i know that so far sony malaysia will not provide warranty for PS3's here but Sony SG does,so i want to know if anything goes wrong that i can just pay the courier charges for the PS3 too the service center in Orchid road or do i have to mail it too a friend/familly member and ask them too settle the warranty for me then mail it back and will they be any taxation on the the PS3 since its an electronical product as it passes customs. and when i register my console should i register with my current address or with an SG address...i have a cousin that stays in JB but studys in SG so if i mail it too him and ask him too bring it too SG for me to claim the warranty will i be incured any tax charges and i have a friend going 2 SG soon should i get the console there or its better too buy it in malaysia....generraly i wana know the charges if i do mail it there and back...and how much roughly will it be to mail the PS3 2 SG its about 8KG if im not wrong
thks in advance
I'm pretty sure you (or your friend) need to bring the PS3 in personally to claim warranty. It should cost around RM200-300 to courier to SG. You ppl need to learn to use google! Almost all the courier websites have a rates calculator. Even Pos Malaysia has it! thks in advance
