hmmm....anyway congrats on ur disicion. but anyway, it wil take only bout 3-6months to play acoustic. so maybe after learning acoustic u might learn classical, donno la, is ur choice. but do check out classical guitar video in utube, they are dman nice

You can still learn classical styles on acoustic, of course it may not sounds as "original" but its good to pick up the techniques. But its all up to you man, Godspeed with your lessons, and break a finger haha

While you're at it, learn some YUI songs lol They're worth strumming to whistling.gif

most of the teacher will encourage students learning calssical. i'm learning classical too but actually i love acoustic more.. but u'll find that classical sounds relaxing biggrin.gif

usually i recommend yamaha music school. they are slightly more expensive but the teacher's are more proffesional. this is due that yamaha is a well-known music school. and if u find a personal teacher, u donnot know his personal standards are his knowledge towards music.
secondly, yamaha music school teaches classical with grades, this is so that u will get a cert for every grade u acchieve and u will know where u progress than a personal teacher who teach u random stuff.

yeah classical is more relaxing and required more pratice too compare to strumming. lie down on sofa, watching movies playing classic grade 1 - 2, priceless.
