by chance if i want to get a new gfx card next january,should i wait for new model to come out or focus on lower price 8800series?

currently my desktop using 7300GT.. kind of lagging for Crysis,but what did i expect of a budget card.. lol... maybe i'd just wait for a 2ndhand card here,kind of needing to save money to add more 1GB ram to desktop(currently also using 1GB only,so loading slow)
