Stop being so quick to jump on the bandwagon about how the 60GB is superior to the 40GB and it being the best PS3 version. It shows that you haven't really put in much thought about it. While it might be a better version for US or Japan (given that they would be able to play their NTSC/US or NTSC/J games respectively), in the context of Singapore (or maybe Malaysia), the 40GB is a much better choice.

But the lack of PS2's games backward compatibility is a really big thing for me.
Although i own a ps2,but w/o the backward compatibility,
u'll need to reinstall ur PS2 console whenever u wanna play ur PS2's games.
Anyway,i'm still trying to searching for a 60GB PS3,
at least,the PS2's games backward compatibility is really important to me.
