IT DOESNT MATTER HOW MUCH YOU BUY YOUR CAR FOR, THE TAX IS CALCULATED BY HOW MUCH THE CAR COST BRAND NEW ON THE YEAR OF PURCHASE WITHOUT TAX. HOWABOUTS YOU GO AROUND GETTING THIS PRICE LIST I HAVE NFI

COME ONE MAN f***KKKK DONT KEEP ASKING "help i am a noob, i bought the car for $xxx, how much tax should i pay?!" WHAT IF I GOT THE CAR FOR FREE DUMBASS?! SHOULD I BE GETTING IT FOR TAX FREEE DUMAAAAAA

hey Beastx, yeah ship it back to Selangor. you were the one who shipped an rx8 back from japan right? how much was the shipping cost?

what i meant was anyone here shipped from Melbourne back to Malaysia before and which shipping company they recommend.

hmm i doubt it'll only be rm3k for a container, anyhow i'll ask around for quotes, thanks !

now to prepare all my paperworks hmm..

wait...forwarder in port klang? as in people who take care of my container when it arrives port? so estimate extra rm1k to pay the port people when my container gets here?

Hey BeastX, you reckon the calculations on http://www.floristhut.com/taxkastam4.htm is accurate enough?

edit: say my car is 2litre (1998cc) do I fall under 1800 < 2000 or 2000 < 2500 ?

IpohLad : you mentioned denting your bonnet twice, but i did not understand lol? what were you trying to achieve by denting your bonnet? appeal?

BeastX: so the 20% and 10% doesnt apply anymore? fuarkkk that significantly brings up the price.. gotta rethink my options..

galen: i'v personally emailed miti about this and they said that malaysian license is fine. which part of au are you in? maybe we can share a container lol
