Information from people in UK said the car is under your posession for 9 months only? anyone know about this?
*
This it true as i am one of them who is bringing back my car (toyota celica) from london. U have to to have proof of being in UK for 1 year as for me studying there for 1 1/2year i sufficient and must possess the car for at least 9 month....

Come from real experience bringing back a car myself. and i quote

You(physically) have to be with the car for the period of 9 months from date of car purchase to be able to use your AP. If 8 months might still consider but below that big fat chance unless u know "somebody-somebody" in MITI.

OR

if you can back date it also a solution.

If you cant prove u were in UK with the car for the 9 months period. Dont bother asking for the AP. Can never get it.

consider urself in good deal already....i had to fork out in total plus the expenses in malaysia port side around 700pound in total.

In regards to ur not fulfilling the 9 months as far as my experience went by if 7 months or less. U'll gonna need very "big cables" to let the AP pass. But heck i should have back dated it then. Should have known better
