Hi..good choice if you choose to bring back a motorcycles using AP.  thumbup.gif
the requirements do not change at all as you read in MITI website. Which part is confusing?
this is my 7th working day waiting for the approval. Pray everything should be fine and get the result in this week.
for me they need all the document as mentioned and without it the process will delayed..

so as long as u fulfill the requirement:

1.Residing overseas legally for a period of not less than one (1) year.

2.Vehicle must be registered under the applicant's name for a period of not less than nine (9) months (from the date of vehicle registration to the date of return to Malaysia).

3.Vehicle must be insured under the applicant's name for a period of not less than nine (9) months (from the date of car insured to the date of return to Malaysia).

4.Applicant must have a valid driving license. A learner/temporary driving license is not acceptable.

5.Returned to Malaysia permanently.

6.Apply within 3 months from the date of return to Malaysia .

AND SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS

1.International passport.
2.Working or studying visa overseas.
3.Identity card.
4.Letter of offer to work or study overseas.
5.Letter of job termination or completion of study.
6.Malaysian driving license.
7.Approval letter to study overseas from the sponsor of the scholarship or loan.
8.Certificate of Registration of the Vehicle overseas.
9.Insurance Certificate of the Vehicle overseas.
10.Purchase Invoice of the Vehicle overseas.
11.Completed and typed Customs Form JK69.
12.Boarding pass/flight ticket back to Malaysia.

All documents submitted must be certified by Malaysian Government officials (grade A) or Commissioner of Oath only.

There's basically no other hassle going through it rite?

May i kindly ask also, how is the tax implied on the imported vehicle? what value do they take as basis of tax calculation? notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

so where are u residing at previously and what vehicle did u bring back? brows.gif

if the document is not in English do the translation 1st and they do accept from certified translation only. I prefer a translation from Institut Terjemahan Negara.
the tax they calculate from the docket price given from kastam..if you want to make a tax price quotation for your vehicle do not hesitate to email custom.gov.my and give them all data@information needed.

previously i worked in KSA, is a old 1986 LHD car only rclxub.gif  hee
