I too share the frustration of owning a nice car and will be moving to Malaysia, in fact KK later in the year and am wondering is it really going to be worth my while bringing my pride and joy with me.

I own a Ford Cougar, it was registered in 2000 and has a 2.5 V6 engine. I have owned it for 12 months now and it cost me 1,500GBP. I understand that it was approx 19,000GBP when new, Could someone Kindly advise me as to how much I will have to pay to the Taxman for the privilage of importing my car.

One more question, would it be possible to drive my car on UK plates for any period of time in Sabah.
