some really excellent information here. I have attempted to use the customs duty calculator but i just need to ask u panel of experts

As i understand AP is completely different to duty payable am i right? Holding an AP does not mean its tax free. I was misinformed that to encourage Msians to go back, they would give AP and not tax the vehicle.

I am moving back from Australia. I have a 2002 W203 Mercedes C 200 Kompressor. Had it since from new until now. From new it was about AUD$85k.
Can anyone confirm with me the tax payable portion?
