Who's AP you gonna use? That person needs to

1. own the car there for at least 9 months (document in the country of origin (UK) under his/her name)
2. has FULL drivers license in the country of origin (UK)
3. has insurance for the car for AT LEAST 9 months prior to the shipment of the car

I think that is it. All malaysians studying / working for 1 year or more are entitled to bring a car in once in a life time (one AP per person).

Then you need to go to MITI, bring all the documents, and then apply for AP. Once that is settled, need to go to Customs to pay tax and release the car from storage at the port of entry (usually Port Klang).
